Our bicycle Tour in Tallinn combines the Old Town, North-Tallinn, Kadriorg and Pirita.
As the medieval Old Town is spread with cobblestones, we start the tour by foot. An approximately 2 hour walk through the Old Town will end up in a lunch break (1hour). A light, but delicious lunch at a recommended place in or near the Old Town will give sufficient energy to start the bicycle trip.
After checking our gear, we head towards North-Tallinn, where you will be confronted with Tallinn’s Sovjet history and the bohemian ‘old fishersmen’-district Kalamaja. Afterwards the tour brings us to Kadriorg, with it s nice and calming park around the baroque Kadriorg Palace, the KUMU Art museum and the Presidential Palace.
A small break later we will end up at the Song Festival Grounds, before cycling towards Pirita, where the Pirita Monastery is still dominating the seaside. From here we will cycle back to Tallinn along the Pirita road or via the Teletorn and Lasnamaë area, a subdistrict of Tallinn where 150.000 people live in Sovjet-style appartments. The choice is up to you.
