Our Romantic Getaway package offers the both of you a relaxing weekend in a well hidden Nordic city where knights, merchants, dragons and princesses are still part of daily life and where the nearby pristine forests of the National Park Lahemaa could be showing some of its secrets.



DAY 1 – Arrival at Medieval Tallinn

After a pleasant flight, you ‘ll arrive at Tallinn Airport, a hotel shuttle service will take you the hotel’s entrance, situated in the medieval Old Town! Depending on your arrival-time, a dinner will be booked in restaurant “Moon” or “Neikid“, both restaurants are highly appreciated among local and international reviewers.


DAY 2 – Romantic Lahemaa

This special guided bus tour heads to the Lahemaa National Park and is a good opportunity for you to discover Estonia’s most popular nature reserve with its jagged coasts, vast forests, wetlands, and variety of manors and taverns in a sauce of tasting the best & natural Estonian cuisine while on a trip.

After some 45 minutes the first stop will be at the famous Viru bog where you can take a short hike on the natural trail. There will be a surprise picnic served in the side of the bog. Further the tour continues with drive on the country roads to the coast through ancient forests and fields, with your next stop being at Palmse Manor House. Have a short stroll in romantic manor house park with swan pond, bathhouse and the Palm House, and taste the real Estonian Cranberry wine in the manor wine cellar.

The day continues with a visit to old fishermen’s village Altja, which offers a glimpse into the life of coastal people in olden times with its genuine romantic aura in nowadays. After a short walk in the village and seaside you’ll be taken for a petite starter and Estonian national refreshment drink “Kama” to the authentic Estonian tavern “Altja Tavern” (seating inside and/or outside weather permitting).

After a short break the tour continues with drive to Vihula Manor House Complex, where by arrival you will be given a short tour around the premises, including visit to the manor garden, where everyone can pick up the fresh ingredients he or she would like to have added to the special meal afterwards. Visit to the Old watermill and taste the fresh snacks made from bread, further head to the old vodka distillery of the manor and have a shot of traditional Estonian vodka with pickled cucumber, accompanied by stories and legends from the vodka smugglers era in the region!

Guess you are now ready for the main course, so we’ll head to the main manor house where you’ll be seated in the fine dine restaurant “La Boheme”, which is known using a lot of fresh ingredients for its tasty cuisine right from its own garden.
After the main course you’ll be taken back to the manor garden in order to collect some peppermint from the backyard of the manor for your surprise cocktail – that’s right, everyone can find out his/her talent in cocktail making further at the manors wine bar for the best “Vihula Mojito”!

After enjoying our selfmade cocktail, we head back towards Tallinn, where restaurant “Ö” or “MEKK” is waiting to serve you a surprising Modern Estonian dinner. Both restaurants are leading the ‘Modern Estonian Cuisine’.


DAY 3 – Wellness & Culture


After a well-deserved night at the charming My City Hotel, we will get you totally relaxed by a traditional Thai massage (1.5hours). The technique consists of pulling moves similar to yoga, acupressure and work with bodies energy lines, which according to China medicine flows through the whole body. Thai massage is an art of healing and a spiritual process.

Being totally ZEN a table will be available at “Leib” or “Von Krahli Aed”.

In the late afternoon, a 2.5 hour guided tour in Tallinn Old Town, will introduce you the most beautiful spots of this historic city and take a look into Estonian history and present day.

The Upper town -Toompea- with its Nevski cathedral, the parliament and many excellent sights. In the lower merchant city we will pass by the medieval citywalls, stroll along Pikk street with it’s merchant houses, bring a visit to the new & modern Freedom Square and we will of course stand still at the central market – Raekoja Plats- with the 14th century gothic cityhall, which is unique in Northern Europe.

In the evening you will be dining in a restaurant at your choice. “Neikid”, “Von Krahli Aed” or “Neh” are our suggestions and can be booked.

In the meanwhile the hotelmanager will be heating the sauna and filling the yacuzzi (1hour). A relaxing day-end after a culinary & cultural journey in Tallinn.

*The Old Town Hanze Tour can also be replaced by our “Koidula Tour” (8hours, including rich Kadriorg and bohemian Kalamaja).

DAY 4 – Surprising Tallinn

After a well-deserved night and delicious breakfast, you will have some free time to wander around the city. Visit Kadriorg, the seaside, Kalamaja or head towards one of the many shops to buy a gift for family, friends,…

A shuttle service will bring you from your hotel to the airport.
