There’s no better way to see Tallinn’s medieval skyline and picturesque coast than taking a sailing tour on the Kajsamoor, a wooden, gaff-rigged schooner built in 1939. During the 2-hour excursion you’ll hear stories of port life, pirates and smugglers, see the Maritime Museum’s historic Seaplane Harbour and cruise the bay. The galley will serve you a hearty sailor’s lunch to keep you fit.
Sailing vessel “Kajsamoor” (1939) is a two-masted galeass-rigged square-topsail wooden schooner built in 1939 in Aasheim og Valvatne Skibsbyggeri yard in Sagvåg Sunnhordland, Norway, as a typical North Sea cargo ship.
The name comes from old Norse mythology and means The Mother of Wind Troll. Since the Trolls average about 300-years of lifespan our windtroll is a rather young lady.
